How Germany Have Lined-up Recently
Germany’s last two matches back in early September saw them line up in their trusted 4-2-3-1 formation, with the likes of Kai Havertz, Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz all featuring in attack, while Joshua Kimmich led a backline consisting of David Raum, Nico Schlotterbeck and Johnathan Tah.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen was the man between the sticks for Die Mannschaft a month ago but he has since been ruled out for the season after rupturing his patella tendon while playing for Barcelona.
Germany Recent Form and Tactics
Back in September, Julian Nagelsmann’s side faced the Netherlands and Hungary, drawing 2-2 with the former and thumping the latter 5-0. Deniz Undav and Kimmich got the goals against the Dutch, while Musiala, Wirtz, Havertz, Niclas Fullkrug and Aleksandar Pavlovic all got themselves on the scoresheet vs Hungary.
While the German defence struggled to contain the danger that the Oranje squad presented, their attack continued to prove that they can be relied upon to ensure that they don’t come away from games empty-handed, with their only loss in the last ten matches coming against eventual winners Spain in the Euros quarter-finals in July.
Germany Injuries to Consider
Coming into the Bosnia clash, the Germans have been dealt a tough blow injury-wise, with Musiala, Havertz, Raum, Robin Koch and Benjamin Henrich all pulling out of national team selection due to various problems.

As a result, Nagelsmann has subsequently called up Jamie Leweling, Johnathan Burkhardt, Kevin Schade and Robin Gosens as replacements, the two former names set to be in with a chance of earning their first caps for the senior team.
