Transfer Rumours: Manchester United, Bournemouth And Everton
Transfer Rumours – Manchester United
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is already planning ahead for transfer targets in 2020. According to Rob Dawson of ESPN, Manchester United are interested in Jadon Sancho and James Maddison as targets for next summer.
Despite reports that United failed to land Sancho during the summer, they are still set to pursue the 19-year-old. After a sensational season last year, in which he registered 12 goals and 14 assists, the England international has continued in similar fashion this season for Borussia Dortmund. So far this season he has three goals and four assists, as the Dortmund currently lie second in the Bundesliga table.
Meanwhile, James Maddison is a new target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The 22-year-old has won several plaudits for his impressive performances since joining Leicester City last season. He would join former Leicester team-mate Harry Maguire at Old Trafford if he were to make the move.
However, the overhaul of the squad at Manchester United looks set to continue, as midfielder Nemanja Matic looks set to leave at the end of his contract, according to CalcioMercato.
The Serbian is now entering his third season at Old Trafford, having joined in 2017. He has made just two appearances so far this season.
A number of clubs from Europe are looking at the possibility of signing Matic. Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus are all interested.
Bournemouth Keen To Keep Hold Of Star Winger
After holding of interest from Arsenal in the summer, Andrew Headspeath of 90min.com writes that Bournemouth are now set offer Ryan Fraser a new contract.
Clubs are now circling the 25-year-old Scotsman as his current contract expires in 2020. As a result, the Cherries are keen to keep hold of their winger who registered 14 assists last season.
However, Eddie Howe could lose striker Callum Wilson, according to ESPN. The England international is reportedly on the list of British targets at Old Trafford.
Everton Chasing Scottish Youngster
According to Teamtalk, Everton are one of a number of sides looking to sign Motherwell striker James Scott.
The 19-year-old has scored three goals in seven appearances since making his Motherwell debut in the 2017/18 season.
Alongside the Toffees, Southampton and Sheffield United are also said to be interested.
