The latest round of testing for coronavirus has uncovered eight positive cases of the virus.
Over the past week, 2213 players and club staff from the 24 Championship clubs have been tested.
While the identity of these individuals remains unknown, it will come as a hammer blow with matches set to return in three days time.
Brentford have, however, announced that they received one positive test.

Four individuals from two League One clubs have also tested positive; League Two have had no positive tests.
Tests are taking place twice a week at the EFL’s member clubs in order to monitor the virus.
Those with positive tests must self-isolate in relation to the guidelines.
Anyone within the EFL who receive a positive coronavirus test, and are showing symptoms, must self isolate for seven days or until symptoms resolve.
If an individual tests positive but has no symptoms, they must state whether they have experienced any symptoms in the previous month.
Should they have shown any symptoms, the individual must exclude themselves from training for ten days.
From day 11 to day 14, they will be under strict surveillance and, if they show symptoms, they must self-isolate for seven days from that point.
The EFL is set to return tomorrow when the League Two play-offs get underway.
Colchester United will host Exeter City and Northampton Town will host Cheltenham Town on Thursday (June 18) before the reverse fixture three days later.
Championship football is due to resume on Saturday (June 20).
