Plymouth Argyle have tied Ryan Hardie down to a permanent deal following two impressive spells with the club.
Hardie was into his second loan spell at Home Park and now the club have now made that move permanent from Blackpool. He moves for an undisclosed fee, signing a two-and-half-year deal at Home Park.
Hardie has played an important role in Plymouth establishing themselves in League One since their promotion.

Hardie Has Spent the Past 12 Months at Home Park
The striker initially joined from Blackpool in January 2020. He settled well into life at Home Park before last season was curtailed. Plymouth moved for him again in the summer taking him on loan for the season.
He has been impressive once again with Ryan Lowe acting quickly to convert his loan into a permanent transfer. Hardie has signed a two-and-half-year deal with the Pilgrims and officially becomes Plymouth’s third signing this transfer window.
Hardie has scored ten goals in his 34 league appearances for Plymouth since arriving twelve months ago. Unsurprisingly, he has been a regular this season featuring 21 times in League One. Hardie has formed a good partnership with teenage sensation Luke Jephcott who is having the season of his life.
The partnership between the strikers has been key to Plymouth’s success this season. 26 of Plymouth’s goals across all competitions this season have either been scored or assisted by the deadly duo.

Speaking to the Plymouth website about Hardie’s permanent transfer, manager Ryan Lowe said: “We are delighted to get Ryan on a permanent deal. We have agreed an undisclosed fee with Blackpool to keep him here for the long-term.
“He’s settled down here, his family are here, he’s a great lad to be around with a great attitude.
“He works hard every day, he’s got quality, and we feel we can improve him. It’s great to have him here, and I am thankful to the board for sanctioning the deal – he’s one for the future of Plymouth Argyle.”
