Moise Kean Everton Departure Would Be Permanent This Summer

Moise Kean Everton

After finding his form at Paris Saint-Germain on loan last season, Moise Kean could depart Everton on a permanent basis this summer. According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton would only accept a permanent move as they look to cash in on the forward.

In truth, Kean has enough talent in abundance to partner Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Goodison Park. Together, they could take the frontline to a whole new level. Yet it seems as though one season is set to define the former Juventus man. He looked a bargain when he originally stepped foot in Merseyside before quickly becoming nothing more than a bench warmer. Sometimes it takes time to acclimatise to English football, however. But the problem is, Kean has never been handed that time.

Everton Could Form Deadly Duo

On loan in Ligue 1 last season, Kean netted 13 league goals in just 26 games despite having competition from Mauro Icardi. In all competitions, the Italian took his tally to 19 in 45 appearances. The fact is, the on-loan Everton man was one of the best young forwards around last season at 21-years-old. And Everton simply can’t afford to waste his talent. They already have one top striker, so why not add another? Kean would only improve the squad, especially with James Rodriguez in behind.

Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin’s current partner, was found wanting at times last season when it came to goals. By the time the season concluded, the Brazilian netted just seven Premier League goals in 34 games. Richarlison may be a fan favourite, but, in comparison to Moise Kean, he simply isn’t at the same level- especially in the long term.

The situation creates a dilemma for Everton. Do they cash in? Or do they finally give Kean another chance? Only time will tell.
