Manchester United Looking to Complete Two More Signings After Altay Bayindir

Sergio Reguilon Has Signed His Contract

Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon has signed his contract at United ahead of completing his loan move according to David Ornstein of The Athletic. The Red Devils will hope that this deal can be finalised in the coming hours, with Ornstein claiming that the official announcement is expected “later today”.

The Spaniard has been brought in to cover United’s heavily injury-hit left-back position. Luke Shaw is set for an extended period on the sidelines, while backup option Tyrell Malacia is also nursing an injury.

Reguilon provides a low-risk option to cover for them, with an option for the Red Devils to cut his season-long loan short in January. His time at Tottenham was very mixed but manager Erik ten Hag will hope that he can do the job when called upon while at Old Trafford.

Sofyan Amrabat Next on the List

The Red Devils are also chasing midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, with a move for the Morrocco international seemingly crucial to their success this season.

United have had a poor start to the season, with their midfield looking particularly weak. Signing Amrabat would go a long way towards shoring this up.

With Fulham currently reported to be after United’s Scott McTominay, it becomes even more important that Amrabat be signed. Ornstein reported on Thursday night that the Manchester club’s move for the midfielder was “on track”, giving fans hope that they may see their side complete three deadline day deals.
