Romano also mentions that they signed the deals during the pre-season tour of the USA in July and that it is now a “matter of time” before the extensions are officially confirmed. The journalist further states that Yamal has signed a new three-year contract until 2026.

Romano further claims that Balde has agreed a new five-year contract with the club after becoming their regular left-back following the departure of Jordi Alba in the summer. Manchester City reportedly tried hard to sign Yamal before he agreed on a new deal with Barcelona.
