Deal In The Final Stages.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the deal is entering the final stages. The player has agreed to join Everton with the final details to be decided upon.
The Italian journalist has also detailed that Everton are in for Newcastle winger Yankub Minteh. But they face competition for the 20-year-olds signature from Olympique Lyon.
Who Is Iliman Ndiaye?
Ndiaye was a Marseille youth product, but at the age of 14 was transferred to Senegal club AS Dakar Sacré-Cœur. He later bounced around lower league clubs in England before signing for Sheffield United at 19.

His breakout season was at The Blades during the 2022/23 season. The Senegalese international described as “excellent” had 25 goal contributions in a Championship campaign that saw the club promoted. After succeeding in the English second tier, he transferred back to his boyhood club for £14.5 million.
But his form did not continue for Marseille as he only managed eight goal contributions, with five assists and 3 goals.
What Does Iliman Ndiaye Bring To Everton
Ndiaye was predominantly deployed as a lone striker at Marseille but featured on either wing during the season. But at Everton, he will likely be deployed in an attacking midfield / second striker role.
The 24-year-old tipped to take over the ageing Abdoulaye Doucoure who has been crucial to the survival of The Toffees over the last three seasons. He could also provide cover in the lone striker role with rumours that Dominic Calvert-Lewincould leave Everton this transfer window.

Exciting when the ball is at his feet, Ndiaye completes 55% of the take-ons he attempts. That finds him in the top 5% of attacking midfielders and wingers in Europe’s top five leagues. It is another relatively young addition to The Toffees squad as they look to rejuvenate the team wit new owners imminent.
