YWT #10- Philadelphia Flyers Defensive Woes
After a stretch that included winning ten out of eleven games, the Philadelphia Flyers came back to earth this week, losing three straight. All three matchups were in the conference, and the Flyers failed to get a point in two of the three contests. The point they did get came in Saturday’s 7-6 shootout loss to the East-leading Tampa Bay Lightning. Bookended by 4-1 losses to both the Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers, Saturday’s game was a slugfest, with the Flyers holding a two-goal lead deep into the game.
Looking forward to this week’s games, the Flyers face some tough competition, including a huge matchup with division rival Pittsburgh on Wednesday night, followed by an overnight trip to face the Boston Bruins in Beantown on Thursday.
On this week’s You Would Think, the guys talk about the disappointment from the recent three-game skid, look forward to the upcoming slate of games, briefly hit some Philadelphia Eagles news and, as always, discuss the Sixers in Seven or Six Seconds.
