The Chicago Blackhawks completed a trade on Monday, February 24th with the Vegas Golden Knights. The Knights acquire goaltender Robin Lehner for a second-round pick, Subban and Slava Demin.

The Vegas get one of the league’s best starting goaltenders in Lehner. He has consistently been one of the best goalies over the past two seasons with the New York Islanders and Chicago Blackhawks. Over his ten-year NHL career, Lehner has played for the Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres, New York Islanders, and Chicago Blackhawks. He has put up a 113-120-45 career record in 298 career appearances with 279 career starts. He also has a 2.73 goals-against average, 0.918 save percentage, and 14 shutouts. Lehner has a career 4-5 record in ten career Stanley Cup Playoff games with eight starts. He has a 2.05 goals-against average, 0.934 save percentage and no shutouts.
This season, Lehner played in 33 games with 31 starts for the Blackhawks. He put up a 16-10-5 record with a 3.01 goals against average and 0.918 save percentage and no shutouts this season.
