Tim Stutzle Contract

Alex is back with another episode of the Last Word on Sens podcast. With a relatively quiet August, he took most of the month off. However, there has been some massive news lately and the podcast is back! Making his return to the podcast to assist Alex is Steve on Sens. Today, the two start by looking at the Tim Stutzle contract and why it is crucial to the Sens rebuild. Both Alex and Steve give their takes on why they like the deal, along with any potential risk it may include.

From there, they also look at the Erik Brannstrom deal and explain why this may actually seal his time as an Ottawa Senator. What do they want to see from Brannstrom and his usage this year? Is there anything that can save his time in Ottawa? Finally, they ask the question of is this defence core good enough as is. The two dive into that topic, looking at how this core could be used this season.

Who is Alex Metzger? Alex is from the Waterloo region in Ontario, Canada. He grew up playing hockey and shortly after fell in love with analyzing it.  Alex is a die-hard Senators fan and has been his whole life… Despite growing up in the middle of Leaf land.
