Seattle Kraken vs Dallas Stars

Series: Kraken 3-3 Stars

Our featured and only game of NHL predictions has the upstart Kraken trying to get their second straight series upset. Philipp Grubauer is once again the projected starter for Seattle. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Experts keep doubting the Kraken, but the team finds ways to win. Goaltending and defence was a question at first, but Grubauer has answered the bell most times. Balance has been the key for Seattle when it comes to goal-scoring. Yanni Gourde leads the team in points with 12 and three others have over 10 points. (Jordan Eberle, Jaden Schwartz and Justin Schultz.) Offensive balance has been key to Seattle’s success and gives it a chance to come up with a goal from unlikely sources.

Jake Oettinger will likely get the start once again after getting chased in Game 6. Dallas has been inconsistent at times and has been hot-and-cold. Roope Hintz is tied for the lead in goals with Joe Pavelski with eight goals. Hintz also leads the team in points with 18 while Jason Robertson is second with 12. However, the Stars have risen up to challenges before in the playoffs. Dallas found a way to beat the Minnesota Wild despite missing Pavelski for the majority of the series. Oettinger has often give great performances after a bad outing.

Game 7s are often tough to tell, but Dallas has the home-ice advantage and the last chance. Oettinger’s ability to recover from a bad game has also helped ad will come into play.

Prediction: Stars win 4-2.
