The penultimate qualifying round saw Zane Maloney make season history at Zandvoort with the frontrunners pushing themselves to the limit.
For the second session in a row, Arthur Leclerc qualified P20 as his competitors Victor Martins and Isack Hadjar qualified P2 and P6 respectively. Leclerc’s teammate Oliver Bearman had a difficult day at Zandvoort as well, setting up a tough climb back into the points for Feature Race for the PREMAs.

Zane Maloney made season history as he became the first driver to secure a second pole position this season. Oliver Bearman narrowly missed out on pole for the Sprint as he qualified P14 after a red flag hindered his shot at pole.
With Hunter Yeany still recovering from his injury and Oliver Goethe competing in the EuroFormula Open, Campos Racing announced that Sebastian Montoya, son of Juan Pablo Montoya, would be racing for them. Montoya qualified an impressive P7 for the Feature and P4 for the Sprint.
Juan Manuel Correa starts on pole for the Sprint Race, his first of the season. Correa is looking for his first win of the season and redemption for a bad weekend at Spa.
With both Martins and Hadjar qualifying high up on the grid and Leclerc and Bearman not, it appears that the two will continue to be a thorn in each other’s side until the final checkered flag in Monza.

The Top 12 in qualifying will be reversed for the Sprint Race.

With the tricky banked corner, high speed, and a new DRS zone, overtaking appears to be on the cards. Just like last race, Leclerc is hoping he can use his skills to his advantage to try and keep himself in contention, while Roman Stanek hopes to move into fourth in the championship.
