PHM Racing has completed its 2023 Formula 3 season with Piotr Wisnicki partnering alongside Sophia Floersch and Roberto Faria.
Seventeen-year-old Piotr Wisnicki will make his Formula 3 debut this season with PHM Racing for 2023. Wisnicki is the 29th driver to be announced for the upcoming campaign.
Wisnicki’s Path to F3
Wisnicki made his single-seater debut in the 2020 Italian Formula 4 Championship with Jenzer Motorsport after racing in several Karting championships. Wisnicki finished 19th in the standings with 12 points – scoring his first points following rival Gabriele Mini receiving a penalty. He retained his seat for 2021 but found no improvement as he finishing 23rd with 15 points.
For 2022, Wisnicki joined Formula Regional European Championship (FREC) with KIC Motorsport where he missed the third round of the season due to school commitments. Suffering two DNFs, Wisnicki finished the season 35th with zero points and a season-best finish of 21st.

Following the announcement, Wisnicki stated:
“It’s a huge step in my career, and it’s going to require a lot of looks and work from me. I would like to thank everyone at PHM Racing for the opportunity that will allow me to appear in this series”
Roland Rehfeld (Team Manager of PHM Racing) added:
“Piotr has more skills than the last year’s results in FRECA have shown. Knowing him from his first years in F4 as a frontrunner, I am convinced of his natural speed. We have to work on procedures on and off track, but I really liked his way to bring himself into FIA F3.”
2023 F3 Lineup
Wisnicki’s past seasons haven’t been encouraging, especially since he didn’t participate in the Formula 3 post-season test, and is unfamiliar with some of the tracks on this year’s calendar. However, seeing PHM’s success in other series’ shows the car has the potential to fight for podiums. Wisnicki is young, so 2023’s goal will likely be getting to terms with the F3 car.
