Last season, Zaccheaus played in all 17 games for the Falcons, starting in 13 of them. Zaccheaus had a career-best season, as he finished with 40 receptions for 533 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.
After a stellar college career at the University of Virginia, Zaccheaus signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL Draft. Zaccheaus made the initial 53-man roster after a strong performance in training camp. Zaccheaus recorded his first career reception, a 93-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Matt Ryan, in a Week 14 victory against the Carolina Panthers. This set an NFL record for the longest first catch in history.
The following week, Zaccheaus returned a fumble for a touchdown in the closing seconds of the game to secure a 29-22 victory against the 49ers. Overall, Zaccheaus recorded three receptions for 115 receiving yards, and two touchdowns, one on offense and another on special teams, in his rookie season.
In 2020, Zaccheaus played in 11 games, starting in two of them, before suffering a season-ending toe injury in Week 12. He finished the season with 20 receptions for 274 receiving yards and one touchdown. His best performance of the season came in a Week 9 victory against the Broncos, in which he recorded four receptions for 103 yards and one touchdown. Zaccheaus also registered eight receptions for 86 yards in a Week 4 loss to the Packers.
In 2021, Zaccheaus played in all 17 games, registering eight starts. Once again, he improved on both his total season receptions and receiving yards. Zaccheaus finished with 31 receptions for 406 yards and three receiving touchdowns. His greatest performance of the season came in a Week 9 victory against the division rival New Orleans Saints. In the game, Zaccheaus had three receptions for 58 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.
