Longtime NFL veteran running back Le’Veon Bell signed a new contract with the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. Bell split the 2020 season with both the New York Jets and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Having lost RBs J.K. Dobbins and Justice Hall to season-ending injuries, the Ravens are signing veteran RB Le’Veon Bell to their practice squad, per source. He soon is likely to be added to the 53-man roster when ready.

Le’Veon Bell, Baltimore Ravens, Agree to Contract
The Jets released Bell on October 13, 2020. Bell signed a 1 year, $1 million contract with the Chiefs on October 17, 2020. With the Chiefs; subsequently, Bell had 63 rushes for 254 yards with two touchdowns. Bell; also, received 17 times for 99 yards. In the playoffs, Bell had two rushes for six yards in one game. The Chiefs lost to the Buccaneers in the Super Bowl.
The Pittsburgh Steelers placed a $14.5 million franchise tag on Bell; however, Bell didn’t sign and sat out the 2018 season. Bell signed a four-year, $52.5 million contract with the Jets on March 13th, 2019. Bell; henceforth, played in 13 games and rushed 245 times for 789 yards with three touchdowns. Bell; additionally, received 66 times for 461 yards with one touchdown.
Bell signed a franchise tag with the Steelers on February 27, 2017. During this season; subsequently, Bell rushed 321 times for 1291 yards with nine touchdowns in 15 games. Bell; additionally, received 85 times for 655 yards with two touchdowns. Bell made First-Team All-Pro; as well as, being selected to the Pro Bowl. In one playoff game, Bell rushed 16 times for 67 yards with one touchdown. Bell; additionally, received nine times for 88 yards with one touchdown. The Steelers lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Divisional round.
During the 2016 season, Bell suffered a sports hernia on Jan 22, 2017. Bell in 12 games; however, rushed 261 times for 1268 yards with seven touchdowns. Also, Bell received 75 times for 616 yards with two touchdowns. Bell; consequently, was selected to the Prow Bowl. In three playoff games, Bell rushed 65 times for 357 yards with two touchdowns. Also, Bell received four times for three yards with one touchdown. The Steelers lost to the New England Patriots in the AFC Conference championships on January 22, 2017.
Bell was drafted 48th overall in the 2013 NFL draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
