Revolution Pro UK (RevPro) teams up with NJPW to create the first huge wrestling event of the year with RevPro High Stakes 2018 with the IWGP Tag Team Champions EVIL & SANADA, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay, the Undisputed British Women’s Champion Jinny and the new contender for Hiroshi Tanahashi´s IWGP Intercontinental Championship Minoru Suzuki who teams with Zack Sabre Jr. to face Moustache Mountain.

Ryan Smile vs Adam Brooks

Smile lost his RevPro Cruiserweight title to Kurtis Chapman at Uprising 2017, just weeks after he won it from Josh Bodom at Global Wars 2017. He now tries to re-climb the ladder to becoming a number one contender. His opponent is making his debut for RevPro. Brooks also made his debut for PWG in 2017. The Australian wrestler is a former MCW Intercommonwealth Champion. MCW (Melbourne City Wrestling) is a company currently rising in popularity, as Kazuchika Okada wrestled for their November Rain show last year.

CCK (Chris Brookes & Travis Banks) vs Zack Gibson & Josh Bodom

This match emerged after Bodom & Gibson spoiled CCK´s opportunity to once again become the Tag Champions. This match could evolve into a number 1 contenders match for the RevPro Tag Titles. Josh Bodom, who is a former British Cruiserweight Champion, teams with the most hated man in the UK: Zack Gibson. The 27-year-old is one half of the current PROGRESS Tag Team Champions together with James Drake as the “Grizzled Young Veterans”. CCK is one of the most decorated teams in recent years. They are former ATTACK!, CZW and PROGRESS Tag Team Champions and are now looking to make their path to regain the British Tag Titles. Travis Banks and Chris Brookes recently faced each other at PROGRESS Chapter 61.

Prediction: CCK (Chris Brookes & Travis Banks)

Mark Andrews vs Will Ospreay

Ospreay won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title from Marty Scurll at Wrestle Kingdom 12 when he defeated Hiromu Takahashi, KUSHIDA and Marty Scurll in a spectacular 4 Way Match. He is one of the exceptionally talented men in Professional Wrestling and known for giving outstanding performances in every match he is in. Andrews is a WWE UK Championship Tournament participant and talented High-Flyer. The 25-year-old has been wrestling for TNA, PROGRESS or PWG, just to name a few.

Prediction: Will Ospreay

Los Ingobernables de Japon (EVIL & Sanada) vs Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher)

The winners of the World Tag League 2017 and LIJ members EVIL & SANADA have proven to be a very well oiled machine over the course of that tournament. EVIL had a great year, defeating Kazuchika Okada in the G1 Climax 27. He even challenged the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, although unsuccessfully he did showcase his talent and left a mark on the viewer when it comes to naming some favourites for this years G1 28. The two „ungovernable“ are the current IWGP Tag Team Champions and defeated Killer Elite Squad (Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Lance Archer) at Wrestle Kingdom 12. Aussie Open had their first year as a Tag Team in 2017 and are set for possibly a great 2018. Kyle Fletcher is just 18 years old with 4 years of in-ring experience. His partner has spent a little more time in the squared circle, as he debuted in 2007.

Prediction: LIJ ( EVIL & Sanada)

Undisputed British Women´s Championship: Jinny (c) vs Millie McKenzie vs Bea Priestley

The first title defence of the newly crowned Undisputed British Women´s Champion. Jinny won the title at last years Uprising show where she defeated Session Moth Martina as her Mystery Opponent. McKenzie is one of the UK´s youngest wrestling talents, she started training in January 2015 at the age of 14. Her debut was in October later that year. She currently trains with Travis Banks and Martin Zaki at the Fight Club: PRO school. More information on her career can be found in this interview. The last but certainly not least participant in this 3-way match is Bea Priestley who might be the most well-known competitor in this match. She is a former WCPW Women’s Champion and might be one of the future female breakout stars of the industry.

Undisputed British Tag Team Championships: Moustache Mountain (c) (Tyler Bate & Trent Seven) vs. Suzuki-Gun (Zack Sabre Jr. & Minoru Suzuki)

Photo: RevPro

This is Suzuki´s return match after he and Zack lost to Hirooki Goto & Will Ospreay at the Global Wars event. The two Suzuki-Gun members try to capture the Tag Titles from two NXT part-timers, Tyler Bate & Trent Seven. This match could be the clash between Japanese Strong Style and British Strong Style, resulting in a very hard-hitting match. This is a Main Event where the winners could come very surprising, as Suzuki might be travelling to the UK regularly in 2018, which he has to, if they win.

Prediction: Zack Sabre Jr. & Minoru Suzuki win the belts
