#AndNEW: Kylie Rae Becomes Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion

Kylie Rae Warrior Wrestling

History was made on Night 1 of the Warrior Wrestling Stadium Series. In the main event, Warrior Wrestling Women’s Champion Tessa Blanchard returned to wrestling for the first time in six months to defend the championship against fan-favorite, Kylie Rae. And it was Rae who would walk our victorious in the end, winning the championship and becoming the second-ever women’s champion in the process.

Rae and Blanchard battled hard in the main event for the gold as the high profile event delivered on all promises of a special night. The two went back and forth before Rae was able to best Blanchard in the end to win the gold.
This was the fourth encounter between Blanchard and Rae in their careers, as Rae was able to notch a win to bring the series to a tie, 2-2.

Blanchard’s run as the inaugural champion lasted 489 days before coming to an end. She defeated Jordynne Grace in May 2019 to originally win the championship.

As Kylie Rae begins her run as champion, you have to wonder who will be the first women to step up and try to take the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Championship from her. No matter who, one can figure Rae will not go down with out an excellent fight like she had Saturday night.

The Stadium Series continues next weekend as Brian Pillman Jr. defends against Warhorse for the Warrior Championship.
