On Friday night, Ari Sterling (formerly known as Alex Zayne) and Jiro Ikemen (formerly known as Jiro Kuroshio) will make their WWE debuts on 205 Live. Both men will complete in separate matches as Sterling will face off with Samir Singh while Jiro will team with August Grey to take on Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese in tag team action.

Sterling made himself a household name on the independent circuits in the United States as he performed as Alex Zayne. His high-flying, fast-paced style even brought him to companies like New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), Ring of Honor (ROH), and IMPACT Wrestling. He competed as an NJPW Strong regular in 2020, having matches with the likes of PJ Black, Blake Christian, and ACH. He should fit incredibly well on the 205 Live roster and is someone to watch now that he is making his debut.
Ikemen, on the other hand, was a constant in All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), Wrestle-1, and DDT over his career. One of Ikemen’s last showings in Japan before signing with WWE was as a part of AJPW’s Champion Carnival tournament, where he picked up a win against the current Triple Crown Champion, SUWAMA. Ikemen should not only bring his charismatic self to 205 Live, but be able to shine bright as early as his first match.
205 Live airs live on Peacock at 10 p.m. this Friday night.
