Thunder Rosa in Action on AEW Dark
Thunder Rosa continues to be not just one of the best female performers in AEW, but in the world of pro wrestling in general. Her Unsanctioned Match against Dr. Britt Baker DMD remains one of the most talked-about matches of the past few months, and she’s currently ranked as the top contender for the AEW Women’s Championship. Baker just won the Championship from Hikaru Shida last week at Double Or Nothing, so it seems inevitable that the two will have a rematch, possibly at All Out in September. Tonight on Dark, Thunder Rosa takes on OVW alumni Megan Bayne.
Aaron Solow vs. Sonny Kiss
Both Sonny Kiss and The Factory’s Aaron Solow are looking for that elusive breakout win to build some momentum. Kiss was last seen in a losing effort against Brian Cage on the May 25 episode of Dark. Solow was in the Casino Battle Royal at Double Or Nothing, a match which was ultimately won by Jungle Boy. Tune in tonight to Dark to see who gets the momentum going forward.
Independent Debuts
A number of independent wrestling stars will be making their AEW debuts on this AEW Dark card. Dan Barry, Matthew Justice, Missa Kate, Cyrus, Zicky Dice, and the tag team of JP & Tommy Daily will be debuting.
