Preview: NWA PowerrrSurge (9/21/21) – Trevor Murdoch Speaks

Trevor Murdoch Speaks NWA PowerrrSurge

Last week, on NWA Powerrr, respect was given. In the opening segment, Nick Aldis approached Trevor Murdoch during an interview, paying the new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion respect before shaking his hand. Murdoch also found a new challenger in the form of Pope. Additionally, viewers also saw a new NWA World Television Championship contender crowned in Jordan Clearwater, who has been intent on keeping the title within the “family” of current champion Tyrus. These were just a few events that unfolded on Powerrr, but this week, the National Wrestling Alliance kicks things up a notch with NWA PowerrrSurge. Trevor Murdoch speaks, Skye Blue, Tootie Lynn, and Thunderkitty do battle, and more – here is what to expect on this packed show.

Trevor Murdoch Speaks With Gary Horne

It would be fair to say that Trevor Murdoch has been on a high the last several weeks. Since dethroning Nick Aldis at NWA 73, winning the most prestigious title in the company, Murdoch has quickly established himself as the top star in the National Wrestling Alliance. Even though Murdoch and Aldis showed respect toward one another last week, as stated earlier, the blue-collar world champion isn’t short on new contenders. Last week, Murdoch not only exchanged fisticuffs with Chris Adonis but exchanged words with Jax Dane, the latter being a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion in his own right. Given the recent whirlwind of events, what will be said as Trevor Murdoch speaks to This is Pro Wrestling host Gary Horne? Tune into NWA PowerrrSurge tonight at 6:05 PM EST to find out.

Joe Galli Interviews Kamille

Another wrestler that will be speaking on NWA PowerrrSurge is the current World Women’s Champion, Kamille. Late last month, “The Brickhouse” came off one of the most important weekends in her wrestling career. At NWA EmPowerrr, she successfully defended her title against a very game All Elite Wrestling star in “Legit” Leyla Hirsch. The following evening, at NWA 73, Kamille retained her title once more against Chelsea Green, who won the NWA Women’s Invitational Cup the night prior. Outside of these successful title defenses, it would appear that Kamille found a new adversary in Melina, who she assaulted in a show of disrespect. Tonight, on NWA PowerrrSurge, Joe Galli sits down for an interview with the reigning NWA World Women’s titleholder. What will she have to say?

Triple Threat Action on NWA PowerrrSurge

In what has been become one of the highlights of NWA programming, women’s action rounds out the action on NWA PowerrrSurge. Skye Blue, Tootie Lynn, and Thunderkitty will take part in triple threat action. Blue has slowly but surely been building her profile across the wrestling scene, even competing in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW All Out earlier this month. Meanwhile, Tootie Lynn and Thunderkitty were part of the aforementioned NWA Women’s Invitational Cup, with Lynn being one of the final two competitors remaining. Now, on PowerrrSurge, these three competitors have the opportunity to show what they can do. This is a bout that can go in any direction, so keep a close eye on the action.
