Just Desserts

Daniel Garcia and his “fathers” 2Point0, might have bitten off more than they could chew. One would think that when someone pokes a bear once and it doesn’t react, you wouldn’t poke it again. Well, that’s exactly what this trio did and one of them is about to get it. Eddie Kingston has had a rough couple of weeks, valiantly fighting but losing to both Bryan Danielson and CM Punk. Kingston just wanted to do what he does best, and that’s talk. “The Mad King” wanted to get everything off his chest, but Garcia and 2Point0 have interrupted him for two consecutive weeks. As the old adage goes, fool me once shame on you. And, everyone knows the rest.

Garcia should be ready for one barbaric fight come this Friday night. Suffice to say, Kingston hasn’t been in a particularly good mood. Garcia, Lee, and Parker further aggravated that fact and there will be hell to pay on Rampage. Will Daniel Garcia score one of the biggest wins in his young AEW career or will Eddie Kingston finally release all his pent-up aggression on “Red Death?”

Spin the Wheel, Make the (Black Friday) Deal

The “Friendsgiving” celebration of Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. didn’t work out so well this past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite. Earlier in the night, Baker cost Jamie Hayter a shot at advancing in the TBS Women’s Championship Tournament. Hayter was livid after the fact and refused help from neither Baker nor Rebel. And, the night didn’t get exceptionally better after all that commotion. Tony Schiavone was invited to the Friendsgiving day celebration. However, he came bearing bad news: Tony Khan scheduled a “Black Friday Deal” match pitting Baker against the first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion Riho.

Schiavone pointed out the fact that back at this year’s All Out, Riho did not get eliminated from the Casino Battle Royale as she was rolled under the bottom rope but was declared eliminated. Tony Khan wanted to do right by the fans and Riho, as well as give everyone a good match, making it official for this Friday night on Rampage. Expectedly, Britt wasn’t a big fan of this decision but nonetheless, it will happen and it’s surely going to be a great one considering both competitors’ history with one another. Two of the best wrestlers AEW has to offer, collide this Friday night on AEW Rampage only on TNT!
