Christmas Surprise 12-Man Tag Match
Josh Woods and Brian Johson will renew their rivalry over the Pure Title at ROH TV #536. The two squared off for the Pure Title at Final Battle, where Woods retained the title. During the match, Johnson tried to use some underhanded tactics to win the title. Now they will each pull five names at random to build their teams for this tag match. The teams of six will square off in this traditional ROH holiday weekend match. Will Johson get some revenge on Woods? Or will Woods end this generation of ROH on a high note? Find out this weekend on Ring of Honor television.
ROH Women’s World Title Match: Rok-C (c) vs. Holidead
At Final Battle, Rok-C successfully defended her ROH Women’s Title against Willow. She was quickly interrupted by former ROH roster member, Deonna Purrazzo. Deonna was there for one reason, to let Rok-C know she was holding a title that was meant for Purrazzo. She laid out a challenge to Rok-C, Purrazzo aims to regain the Knockouts Title from Mickie James at Hard to Kill. Once that is done, she wants to challenge Rok-C for the ROH Women’s Title in a winner takes all match.
Before Rok-C can think about that challenge, she must defend the title one more time on ROH television. Standing across the ring from her is Holidead. Holidead became the number one contender after defeating Trish Adora, Quinn McKay, and Vita VonStarr in a four-way matchup. Holidead would love nothing more than to upset Rok-C’s plans and end this era of ROH as the Women’s Champion. Find out who ends this generation of ROH as the champion at ROH TV #536.
