Two potentially explosive matches will take place on NXT UK that will show off the unique hybrid wrestling style that NXT UK offers. NXT UK airs on Peacock and the WWE Network at 3pm ET/ 8pm GMT today (Thursday March 10). The show is broadcast on European channels across the next few days. Check out our NXT UK preview for the full lowdown.
Announced Card (10/3/22)
- Charlie Dempsey vs. A-Kid
- NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship: Noam Dar vs. Joe Coffey
Charlie Dempsey vs. A-Kid
Charlie Dempsey and A-Kid are two of the best technical wrestlers in NXT UK. Both work very unique wrestling styles based on the traditional European style but given a modern flair. Dempsey approached A-Kid for some training tips but the Spaniard refused due to his allegiance with Teoman and Rohan Raja.
A-Kid was right to be hesitant. Only seconds after he’d turned down Dempsey the rest of Die Familie arrived and unleashed a brutal assault.
This week, Dempsey will get the chance to test his technique against A-Kid. But A-Kid will have to keep one eye over his shoulder for Teoman and Raja.

Heritage Cup Championship
The traditional British wrestling style will be on show when Noam Dar defends his NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship against Joe Coffey. It is the first championship that Dar has held in WWE. Coffey has never held solo gold in NXT UK and will be hoping he can capture that this week.
The build to this match has been a lot of fun. Dar along with his best pal Sha Samuels have been engaged in a war of words with Gallus for a while now. Gallus even locked the pair in their dressing room and took over Supernova Sessions.
Samuels and Mark Coffey met last week to add final hype for this contest. We may see both competitors chums play a role in the outcome.
The rounds format does align itself nicely for interference as losing a round through DQ can set you up nicely to dominate the rest of the match.

Any Other Business?
Match-wise, Xia Brookside could face an easy contest if her daddy gives in to her demands.
A trucker on a quiet road will almost certainly discover a mysterious creature.
Isla Dawn could cast a final spell ahead of facing Meiko Satomura for the NXT UK Women’s Championship.
