Swerve Strickland #AllElite In-Ring Debut
After his momentous signing was made official back at Revolution, Swerve Strickland finally gets into an AEW ring. He faces off against “The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese in his in-ring AEW debut. On the latest edition of Dynamite, Swerve was in the middle of an interview with Tony Schiavone when Nese decided to enter the fray. Tony welcomed AEW’s newest top acquisition and immediately laid down the challenge for this Friday night on Rampage.
Right away, Strickland accepted the match with his familiar foe, as they look to rekindle their Friday night rivalry. Two of AEW’s best and brightest collide on Rampage! Will “Swerve’s House” be rockin’ and rollin’ towards a victory or will Tony Nese put on one premier performance and walk away with his hand held high?
Unfinished Business
In one of the most shocking moments of Dynamite, the AHFO decided that they no longer needed the services of their now-former CEO Matt Hardy. After the unceremonious expulsion, which saw Matt’s proteges Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen of Private Party turn their backs on their mentor, they decided to put on a hell of a beating on Hardy alongside the rest of the AHFO.
Luckily, Darby Allin and Sting did not stand idly by and hit the ring to help out the former CEO. However, the numbers game caught up to them as well and they soon after saw themselves amid a mugging. With no one left to ward off the assault of the AHFO, things looked absolutely grim for the trio. But then, familiar music hits the airwaves marking the arrival of one-half of one of the greatest tag teams of all-time and Matt Hardy’s younger brother “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy!
The former multiple-time world champion entered the chaos and cleaned house, dispatching the wolves that surrounded The Icon, Darby, and his brother. To cap off this monumental Hardy Boyz reunion, Matt and Jeff pulled off their vintage Twist of Fate-Swanton Bomb combination for good measure.
The latest edition of Dynamite was one crazy night, and on this Friday’s Rampage, things aren’t quite done. Allin is still reeling from that brutal Tornado Trios Match back at Revolution, However, he’s well and ready to go against Marq Quen and he looks to unleash all that pent-up aggression on one-half of Private Party this Friday on Rampage. Don’t you dare miss one of AEW’s four pillars in action, only on TNT!
