On the NXT Stand & Deliver pre-show, Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai challenged Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. The week prior to this event, Gonzalez and Kai reunited, having been bitter rivals followed their previous break-up as partners. They would then reunite as partners against a common enemy in Toxic Attraction, which Kai believed to have a hand in the disappearance of her own tag team partner, Wendy Choo. In this pre-show bout, it was the team of Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai that emerged victorious as 2x NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai Win NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles
What to Know Following Major Tag Team Championship Change
With this victory, Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai have captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship for the second time. They were the inaugural champions, having won last year’s edition of the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They were presented with the new titles on the March 10, 2021 episode of NXT, though their reign wouldn’t last long; later in the evening, they dropped the titles to the duo of Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon.
It’s important to note that, later on during the NXT Stand & Deliver event, Toxic Attraction member Mandy Rose will defend the NXT Women’s Championship in a fatal four-way against Cora Jade and 2022 Women’s Dusty Cup winners Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray. Will Toxic Attraction leave this event without any gold in their possession?
