Getting Even
This already heated rivalry started a few weeks ago when Brody King last eliminated Darby Allin to win the Royal Rampage match on AEW Rampage. However, King eliminated Darby in the most sadistic way possible. The brute from the House of Black exemplified his dominance and made Allin an example by locking on a Rear Naked Choke, then proceeding to dangle Darby off the edge of the ring until he was unconscious.
While some may view Brody’s actions as something circumstantial, it was undoubtedly a statement for those even thinking of crossing Brody King and his brothers. Unfortunately, the attacks did not stop there. In an AEW fan event, Brody King once again laid waste to Darby Allin, leaving him a broken mess once again.
However, this Wednesday night on Dynamite, the daredevil of AEW has the opportunity to exact a measure of revenge, as he goes one on one with King on Night Three of Fyter Fest. Will Brody King once again dominate the fearless competitor or will Darby Allin do what he does best; overcome the odds?
Violence Incarnate
When we all thought this war couldn’t get any more violent, Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston once again manages to outdo themselves. Back at Blood and Guts, it seemed like everything was settled when Kingston’s team brutalized the Jericho Appreciation Society and won the barbaric battle.
However, Eddie Kingston still has a chip on his shoulder, considering he didn’t get the opportunity to make Jericho surrender himself. “The Mad King” wants his revenge and is upping the ante by challenging “The Wizard” to a Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match. To Jericho’s credit, he eagerly accepted the challenge without even batting an eye. Chris Jericho went on to say that the man Kingston will face in that ungodly match will not be just any man, as “The Painmaker” makes his return.
Stakes have never been higher between these two. it’s Jericho versus Eddie Kingston; no interference, no rules, no mercy! Who will survive this sure-to-be bloody affair? Find out this Wednesday night on Week Two, Night Three of Fyter Fest!
