Third Time’s the Charm

Jon Moxley had one heck of a night on last week’s Grand Slam as he not only took down his Blackpool Combat Club teammate Bryan Danielson in a “Match of the Year” candidate,” but also made history as the first-ever three-time AEW World Champion. Mox and Danielson set aside their brotherhood for one night and absolutely showed out to deliver one of the most physical matchups AEW fans have ever seen.

However, there really is no rest for the wicked. Seven days removed from his brutal bout with Danielson, Moxley competes in an Eliminator match against a familiar adversary in the form of the debuting Juice Robinson. Mox and Juice have a storied rivalry over the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in NJPW. These two men know each other very well, and if history dictates, Mox and Juice will stop at nothing two get the win over the other.

Will Juice Robinson pull it off in his AEW debut and defeat his arch-rival to earn a shot at the AEW World Title? Or will Jon Moxley keep up his momentum and come away victorious?

First One Up

Chris Jericho did the unthinkable last week on AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. For the first-time in his career, Jericho hoisted up the ROH World Championship, cutting Claudio Castagnoli’s amazing run short. Overall, this is Jericho’s 8th world championship. The “Sports Entertainer” has officially won a world championship in three separate decades; a true showcase of Chris’ talent and longevity.

Unfortunately, he won’t have much time to celebrate the victory long as a former ROH and PWG World Champion in the form of Bandido makes his AEW debut. The luchador is quite possibly one of the most exciting and talented young wrestlers in the world right now.

However, this is not Bandido’s first rodeo. Before the age of 30, Bandido has already won two world titles, and there’s no doubt he will collect a lot more gold before it’s all said and done. With everything on the line, who will step up? Bandido makes his AEW debut against the legendary Chris Jericho for the Ring of Honor World Championship!

Don’t miss this historic battle this Wednesday night on the AEW Dynamite card only on TBS!
