Who Will Call Their Shot?

Whoever holds the trophy will have the champions of IMPACT constantly looking over their shoulder. The winner of this gauntlet will be able to challenge for any title at any time. Last year’s winner Moose wasted little time cashing in the opportunity. Following Josh Alexander’s victory over Christian Cage, Moose immediately cashed in and defeated Alexander for the IMPACT World Championship. As of this writing PCO, Rich Swann, Gisele Shaw, Heath, Bhupinder Gujjar, Bobby Fish, Moose, Steve Maclin, and Sami Callihan have entered the gauntlet. One of the 20 entrants will walk out of Bound for Glory with a shot at any title at any time. Find out who walks away victorious this Friday night.

Prediction – Bobby Fish

Is This the Final Ride for Mickie James?

Mickie James addressed her future a while back on IMPACT on AXS TV. Now she is on a mission to prove she can still hang with the best of the Knockouts Division. This created the “Last Rodeo Tour” for James. James has promised that her next loss will bring an end to her career. She defeated Gisele Shaw at Victory Road to keep her career alive. Shortly after the match, she was greeted by Mia Yim backstage. Yim who has respect for James and her career was challenged by James to a match on IMPACT’s biggest night of the year. Yim accepted and now has the chance to end the career of someone she respects.

The stakes have never been higher for  James, but she is no stranger to big matches. James has held the Knockouts Championship four times and has held the WWE Women’s Championship four times along with one reign as Divas Champion. James is no stranger to big matches and this match at Bound for Glory 2022 she will be in a huge match with career implications.

Prediction – Mickie James

Alexander Doesn’t Want a Repeat of Last Year

Josh Alexander had an eventful night at Bound for Glory last year. As mentioned earlier the night ended with him winning and losing the IMPACT World Championship within minutes. It took him until Rebellion in April of 2022 to take home the title once again. Now he walks into Bound for Glory as the champion against the leader of Honor No More, Eddie Edwards.

Edwards earned the shot at Alexander by winning a six-way elimination match on IMPACT on AXS TV. Edwards has the championship on his mind as he feels slighted by how the title situation was handled last year. During Kenny Omega’s time as IMPACT World Champion, Edwards was never given a shot to bring the belt back to IMPACT. Even though had been called “The Heartbeat of IMPACT” his name was never called to challenge Omega. This was key to him becoming the leader of Honor No More.

Now that Edwards is back in the title picture he focused solely on taking the belt back for himself and Honor No More. Will Edwards be able to take the belt to Honor No More? Or Will Alexander undo the damage done last year at Bound for Glory and end this year’s show with his hand held high? Find out at Bound for Glory 2022.

Prediction – Alexander retains
