It’s the final Monday Night Raw before WrestleMania as WWE sets itself up for the biggest event of the year. It’s a packed edition of WWE Raw tonight, live from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Formerly the Talking Stick Resort Arena, it’s been WWE’s go-to stop for Arizona since 1993. It housed the 2017 Elimination Chamber event where the currently MIA Bray Wyatt won the WWE Championship inside the titular Elimination Chamber in the main event. It also saw Naomi, now exiting the WWE, defeat Alexa Bliss to win her first of two Smackdown Women’s Championships.

The final edition of Raw before WrestleMania is going to be headlined by a rather major match. As Cody Rhodes takes on The Bloodline’s heavy, Solo Sikoa. Cody last week questioned how truly loyal The Usos and Solo are to Roman, claiming that once Roman Reigns loses the Unified Universal WWE Championship, their faith would falter. In Solo’s anger, he accidentally went against his Tribal Chief’s orders. Planting that doubt for fans to see.

Both Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa have been undefeated since their entries into Raw/Smackdown. Neither being pinned or submitted. So, the major question going into this big match is if something is going to give. Will someone suffer their first loss here?

Miz TV With Champions And Hall Of Famers

The Miz will have Trish Stratus and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Becky Lynch and Lita ahead of their WrestleMania trios match against Damage CTRL while The Miz is set to host the two night event. Rather obviously, this segment is supposed to remind us of those two things happening at WrestleMania. So, the question is how will Damage CTRL cause a ruckus and crash the segment.

Something With Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin is set to take on Rick Boogs as Corbin’s character seems to now revolve, in some way or another, around mentors. JBL ditched him. He then tried to seek the approval of Maxine Dupree. Now he’s criticizing Rick Boogs for trying to follow Elias’ example. Riveting stuff. At least there’s some sort of theme to all this. Either all, we have a match for Raw.

Atomicos Action

Rather than Battle Royals for WrestleMania, instead they relegate that to Smackdown now, the way to get names into the Showcase Of The Immortals this year is a more proactive pair of 4 Way Tag Team matches. For the men, we have The Street Profits, Viking Raiders, Alpha Academy and Ricochet/Braun Strowman participating. As such, Raw will pair them up neatly into babyface and heel Atomicos (the term for 4 man teams in Mexico) for a showcase before the showcase.

Besides all that, we of course have two full nights worth of matches to promote as well as the big mystery of whether Bray Wyatt’s medical issue has cleared up or if his match with Bobby Lashley will indeed be fully scrapped. Plus, we also need more Asuka and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair staring to get to. All that and more, tonight, as we get set for WrestleMania Week.
