Rock Hard Action
Before having his match with Ricky Starks, Juice Robinson will face off against Action Andretti. It seems Andretti has stepped away from his feud by proxy with Ricky Starks with Chris Jericho and his Jericho Appreciation Society, but he yet again finds himself being Ricky Starks’ setup guy. Meanwhile, Juice Robinson is still looking for his place in AEW since signing this past December.
Problems In Valhalla
Taya Valkyrie laces her furry Perro Aguayo tribute boots once again for action on Rampage. She takes on one of Jade Cargill’s previous rivals in ‘The Problem’ Marina Shafir as she looks to eventually face Jade Cargill herself and challenge for her TBS Championship. It will be a rather interesting clash as Taya brings her rather unique AAA brawling style to take on the heavily MMA-influenced former 4 Horsewomen of MMA.
Rise For The Kings
Two thirds of The House Of Black, the current AEW Trios Champions see action tonight on Rampage. It’s Malakai Black and Brody King, the Kings of the Black Throne. They take on the always-around and always popular Best Friends. Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta. Could this be pointing to a future Trios title program?
Expect Insane Stuff
In what will likely be the episode’s main attraction, Konosuke Takeshita takes on Jericho Appreciation Society’s Sammy Guevara. In a match that might, without a doubt, feature a lot of amazing moves and high flying. After all, the two have to compete with Hijo Del Vikingo vs Komander as a free alternative. We’ve seen what these two by themselves are capable of doing. Let’s see what they can do together. However, let’s remember. Sammy Guevara has his sights set on challenging MJF for the AEW World Championship. We already saw Jack Perry get a win over Matt Hardy on Dynamite to then address the Champion. Sammy might follow suit.
All that and more, on the AEW Rampage card tonight.
