The Bob Luce Memorial Battle Royale
For the first time, at NWA 312, the National Wrestling Alliance will hold the first-ever Bob Luce Memorial Battle Royale. Born in 1928, Bob Luce saw success as a professional wrestling promoter during the 1960s and 70s. During his time as a promoter, he worked with such notable names as Andre the Giant and the original “Nature Boy,” Buddy Rogers. In 2007, Luce passed away, just one day shy of his 79th birthday. This Friday, the NWA will honor his memory with a battle royal pitting 20 competitors against one another. Moreover, the individual that ends the match standing tall can expect to compete for the NWA National Heavyweight Championship, currently held by Cyon, in the future. Names announced for the Bob Luce Memorial Battle Royale include former ROH World Television Champion Rhett Titus and former NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Homicide.
The First NWA Women’s Television Champion is Crowned
In one of the featured matches set for NWA 312, a new champion will be decided. To be more specific, Kenzie Paige will clash with Max the Impaler to crown the first-ever NWA Women’s Television Champion. This past June, the National Wrestling Alliance made the formal announcement of the belt in question. From there, a tournament was held, pitting numerous women’s wrestlers against each other. Over the course of multiple NWA Powerrr and NWA U.S.A. tapings, Paige bested KiLynn King and Ashley D’Ambroise. Meanwhile, Max asserted their authority over Natalia Markova and Taya Valkyrie. Following their respective finals matches, it was confirmed that Paige and Max would square off at NWA 312 for the Women’s TV title. On paper, Max has the power advantage but based on her previous success as an NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champion, Paige shouldn’t be counted out. Expect both competitors to be at the top of their game this Friday.

La Rosa Negra Challenges for the World Women’s Title
Staying on the topic of women’s wrestling, Kamille will also be in action as she defends the NWA World Women’s Championship against La Rosa Negra. Kamille’s dominance as the top women’s wrestler in the National Wrestling Alliance is incredibly well-documented. She boasts well over 660 days as NWA World Women’s Champion, and during her reign, she’s overcome competitors ranging from Serena Deeb to Melina to Taya Valkyrie and beyond. This past January, Negra and her team won the Champions Series, which afforded her a future championship opportunity. She decided to redeem the opportunity in question at NWA 312, where she will compete against “The Brickhouse” herself. Will Kamille’s title reign continue into the summer months or can Negra succeed where others have failed, capturing the NWA women’s title in the process?

The Masterpiece Seeks World Title Gold at NWA 312
In the main event of this Friday’s show, “The Masterpiece” Chris Adonis challenges Tyrus for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. Adonis’s path to “The 10 Pounds of Gold” has been witnessed by avid NWA fans, who have seen him do everything from working alongside Strictly Business to enjoying reigns as NWA National Heavyweight Champion. Since the beginning of 2023, though, it could be argued that he’s been the most ambitious version of himself fans have seen. This level of ambition led him to win the Champions Series alongside his teammates; with this victory, Adonis had a title opportunity in his future. Meanwhile, Tyrus has held the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship since November and made no qualms about verbally running down his detractors, namely the majority of the National Wrestling Alliance fanbase. Meanwhile, Adonis embraced the fan support, desiring to be the world champion that others could be proud of. Can Adonis capture his first world title in Chicago? Find out this Friday.
