It’s the first time in a while that we have a live All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Rampage as they come to us from the Ryan Center in Kingston, Rhode Island. A mid (MJF would not be pleased) sized venue, it seats about 8,000 people and as far as combat sports go, it previously hosted a Bellator event in 2012. Rampage is to be followed by AEW Battle Of The Belts to make it a two-hour block of programming this Friday heading into Saturday from 10pm ET to midnight. Let’s take a look at the AEW Rampage card tonight.

A Rare Instant Rematch
On Dynamite this past Wednesday, Hook was able to defeat Ethan Page with relative ease. This was all thanks to the aid of the disgruntled Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy, turning on Page. Though, it was obvious the two sides never really got along, Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy being forced into The Firm with Ethan Page, Big Bill, Lee Moriarty and Stokely Hathaway, Matt and Isiah seemingly tried to get along with the rest of the group. But that came ahead on Dynamite with Matt hitting Page with the FTW title. Allowing Hook to easily apply the Redrum for the win.
Now, a rare instant rematch has been made for Rampage tonight as Ethan Page yet again faces Hook. However, this time, the FTW Championship is on the line. Will Ethan Page have better luck this time?
More Firm; But Also Darby
The saga of the 4 Pillars clashing continues. On Dynamite we saw Jungle Boy Jack Perry attack MJF, interrupting his MJF Day celebration while Sammy Guevara defeated the spectacular Komander. This coming after his victory over Konosuke Takeshita last week on AEW Rampage as he builds a streak of wins to impress his way into that potential World title match that has been teased. Tonight, Darby Allin looks to start throwing his name in the World title contendership hat as he takes on another member of the rather active Firm tonight in Lee Moriarty. Who is not coming alone, as Big Bill will second him at ringside.
Jericho Appreciation Society vs House Of Black
It’s a bit of faction warfare and a rare heel vs heel match, as Anna Jay AS of the Jericho Appreciation Society takes on Julia Hart of The House Of Black. The two groups first interacted 3 weeks ago when Sammy Guevara, Daniel Garcia and Chris Jericho of the JAS took on Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews and Brody King of the House Of Black and current AEW World Trios Champions as well as The Elite. Now we see women’s action regarding the two factions.

On top of all that, The Acclaimed, Matt Menard and Angelo Parker of the Jericho Appreciation Society all team up for Atomicos action against an unnamed team. This continues Menard and Parker’s efforts to recruit The Acclaimed for the JAS, however, Anthony Bowens, Max Caster and ‘Daddy Ass’ Billy Gunn were very adamant about not being interested, especially after Max Caster’s rap on Dynamite.
Swerve Strickland will have an announcement of sorts tonight as well and we will see a sitdown interview between Jade Cargill and Taya Valkyrie as Valkyrie continues to vie for an opportunity at Jade Cargill’s TBS Championship. All that and more tonight on this AEW Rampage card, which will be followed up by AEW Battle Of The Belts VI.
