Sabin Wants Number 9

Chris Sabin has been associated with the X-Division and the X-Division Championship since the division’s inception. Sabin has held the belt for 432 days over his eight reigns. Both of which, are IMPACT Wrestling records. He will look to extend his historic run by defeating Trey Miguel at Under Siege. This match was made after Miguel held up a recent episode of IMPACT on AXS TV. He demanded to be respected and take on a “real” opponent. Sabin came to the ring to put the hold up to an end and gave Trey an opponent for Under Siege. Trey is a high flyer and has speed on his side, but Sabin is no stranger to both. Sabin is also a more well-rounded wrestler with more experience both inside and outside of the X-Division. Trey has youth on his side in comparison to Sabin, making them pretty evenly matched.

Trey will go to great lengths to defend the title, shown by his removal of Laredo Kid’s mask in their recent match. Sabin on the other hand prefers to stay within the rules to win a match. Will this change at Under Siege? Will Trey walk out as champion? Find out this Friday night on IMPACT Plus.

Jordynne’s Last Chance

Deonna Purrazzo walked out of Rebellion as the new Knockouts Champion. She defeated Jordynne Grace for the vacated belt. The two then teamed up to take on The Coven for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships, which they were unsuccessful. Purrazzo has proven to be one of the best Knockouts in this era of IMPACT if not all time with her historic and lengthy title reigns. Her technical wrestling ability gives her an advantage against just about any Knockout on the IMPACT roster.

Grace, however, brings the strength advantage, and is deceptively agile. Grace walks into this match with added pressure. If she is unable to win the IMPACT Knockouts Championship at Under Siege 2023 she will not be able to challenge Purrazzo for the belt as long as Purrazzo holds it. The two have pushed each other to their limits on more than one occasion in the ring. This Friday will be no different. The stakes are high for both Knockouts this Friday night.

IMPACT Under Siege Main Event: PCO vs. Maclin

The IMPACT Hard to Kill pay-per-view may be in the books for 2023, but PCO has proven he is extremely hard to kill. The French Canadian Frankenstein came back from a vicious attack by Steve Maclin on a recent episode of IMPACT on AXS TV. Maclin came to the ring declaring PCO out of Under Siege and attempted to hand-pick his opponent. Scott D’Amore came to the ring to put an end to the attempt by Maclin.

This angered Maclin who has accused D’Amore of not wanting Maclin to be the IMPACT World Champion. D’Amore promised to put the belt around Maclin’s waist at Under Siege if he can defeat PCO. The lights then went out in the IMPACT zone as PCO appeared in the ring and cleared house. Maclin has proved he is tough in the ring. He has strength and power but is also agile, making him a dangerous force in the ring. PCO can never be taken lightly as the veteran proves time and time again that he can still bring it in the ring. Will Maclin retain? Or will PCO walk out of Under Siege as the new IMPACT World Champion?
