The Superfan Becomes a Superstar
If you are not quite familiar with who Izzy Moreno is, she is in fact none other than the infamous little girl that would populate Full Sail University every week for NXT for many years to witness her favorite wrestler: Bayley. She was famously a part of Bayley’s main event match against Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover: Respect where Sasha Banks antagonized her mid-match to the point of making her cry. Izzy would continue to be a presence in NXT until not long after Bayley’s call-up to the main roster in 2017.
Her status as “Bayley’s superfan” was well remembered from the time period. Which, is barely far off. Who knows. Are we just a few years removed from seeing Izzy Moreno go from Bayley’s #1 fan to being her opponent? I mean, at this pace, that is very much possible. It all depends on how well she does now as her pro wrestling career begins. Izzy Moreno, should her career grow from here, would become the second prominent pro wrestler of Colombian descent. The most well known one being ECW alumni Pablo Marquez.
Izzy Moreno is set to face Jazmin Allure at the show. A wrestler that has appeared for many promotions and has worked on WWE & AEW TV in an enhancement capacity. She is also a competitor for Women Of Wrestling. Also scheduled, as the main event, is Jennacide defending the MPW Championship against the Puertorican, Tiffany Nieves. Nieves is a regular for Ohio Valley Wrestling, Maryland Championship Wrestling and Coastal Championship Wrestling.
The event is set to broadcast through Title Match Network. All events of Title Match Network can be accessed via a monthly $9.99 subscription or an annual $99.99 one that grants access to all of the site’s content.
