The announcement of Bash In Berlin in partnership with Live Nation follows the huge success of multiple International WWE Premium Live Events over the past 12 months, including Elimination Chamber from Montreal, Backlash from Puerto Rico, Night of Champions from Jeddah and Money In The Bank from London. Australia will play host to Elimination Chamber: Perth on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

Additional information will be announced in the coming weeks”

The announcement is significant as it underscores WWE’s intent to expand its PLE cycle to more places outside the U.S. The first ever European WWE PLE happened way back in 1992, when Bret Hart and the British Bulldog, Davey Boy Smith, headlined SummerSlam at London’s Wembley Stadium for the Intercontinental Championship. Since then, WWE has returned to the UK multiple times, including twice this year alone. However, Germany has never had the opportunity to hold a WWE PLE .

Despite this, WWE has held multiple live events in Germany, including a series of four shows that are going on right now. Seth Rollins just successfully defended his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura at the Olympiahalle in Munich and there are more shows coming up this week in the likes of Cologne, Hamburg, and, finally, at the Mercedes-Benz arena in Berlin which will allow the WWE to test its capabilities for the PLE next year.

With many European superstars part of the company like Drew McIntyre, Gunther, and the rest of Imperium, the shows are guaranteed to be packed with enthusiastic fans who will be salivating to see their favorite superstars in action. Imperium and Gunther, especially, will be big hits at Bash in Berlin. Here is to hoping that WWE holds more shows in Europe in the upcoming years.
