With only two episodes left of AEW Dynamite before Worlds End, we should see the card start to take shape on this week’s episode! We’ll find out who will challenge AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm as Riho and Saraya go head to head for the number one contender spot. Roderick Strong looks to rebound from his loss to “Hangman” Adam Page as he battles Komander. AEW World Champion MJF & number one contender Samoa Joe will address the fans and will most likely be attached by The Devil and his henchmen.
The Continental Classic nears the close of its inaugural tournament. Someone’s 0 has to go! Usually, that’s used for a clash of the unbeaten…this one is for a clash of the winless as Jay Lethal and Mark Briscoe fight it out to gain their first and possibly only win of the tournament. Swerve Strickland and Rush collide in a match that could have heavy implications for the semi-finals. Our focus will be on another match that will have a major impact in the next phase, as Jay White battles the only undefeated wrestler left in the field, Jon Moxley!

Can Jon Moxley remain undefeated in the Continental Classic?
We are nearing the end of the inaugural Continental Classic! There have been so many great match-ups, and this week’s encounter between “Switchblade” Jay White and Jon Moxley has the potential to be the best of the tournament.
Moxley is undefeated in the round-robin tournament, sitting at the top of the gold league with twelve points. Jay White has the chance to play spoiler for Moxley and tie him in points. If White can score the upset and Swerve Strickland picks up the win against Rush, we’ll see a three-way tie for first place.
With all three trading wins during the tournament, you couldn’t go for a tiebreaker, which would throw a wrench in the semi-final match-ups. If Moxley remains undefeated, we’ll likely see a rematch between him and Swerve in the semi-finals.
The fact that it is this late in the tournament and still this unpredictable is excellent! I look forward to seeing how these matches shake out!
