On August 27th, 2023, in Wembley Stadium, the largest show in professional wrestling history took place, and it was certainly not short of talking points. So much so, that AEW have announced the premiere of a brand-new show: AEW Stories.

Behind The Scenes At Wembley

The first episode of this new programme will be centred around the events of AEW All In: London 2023, specifically giving fans a previously unseen, behind-the-scenes look at the day’s events.

Of course, the biggest story of that weekend was the backstage drama between Jack Perry and CM Punk. It remains to be seen whether AEW will mention the issues. After airing the CCTV footage on AEW Dynamite in April 2024, it could be possible that those in power would like to move on.

What Will We Learn?

An inside look at the aftermath of the incident could make for a captivating watch. We could see how the likes of Samoa Joe and other senior members of the locker room stepped up to ensure All In: London 2023 ran smoothly.

Also, given the immense success and record-breaking size of the show, it’ll be intriguing to be granted an idea of the feelings amongst the talent. It’s likely that there was a lot of nervousness within the roster, despite the exceptional performances put on by all.

No matter what the inaugural episode of AEW Stories covers, it’s sure to provide plenty of topics for discussion. Given that AEW All In: London 2024 will be less than a week away when the episode lands, it’s the perfect time to remind fans of the success of the previous year’s instalment.
