A massive WWE Raw takes place this week barely two days after a historic WWE Bad Blood. The World Heavyweight and Intercontinental titles are on the line during the first two-hour WWE Raw.
Here’s our WWE Raw preview. The show will air live from the Enterprise Center in St Louis, MO on the USA Network at 8/7c.
WWE Raw Match Card (10/7/24)
- World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther vs. Sami Zayn
- Intercontinental Championship: Jey Uso vs. Xavier Woods
- Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match: Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne
Can Sami Zayn Take Gunther’s Title Again?
Sami Zayn stepped up to challenge Gunther for his World Heavyweight Championship with the hope he can repeat his WrestleMania 40 performance and take his title. Zayn ended the 666-day Intercontinental Championship streak of Gunther at WrestleMania 40 in April.
Gunther admits that he took Zayn lightly then but won’t make the same mistake now that the richest prize on WWE Raw is on offer. Gunther created heated tension with Goldberg at WWE Bad Blood on Saturday when he suggested he was a bad wrestler.
Could Goldberg play a role in the outcome of this match and help Zayn shock the world again?

Jey Uso Defends Intercontinental Gold Against Xavier Woods
Jey Uso‘s Intercontinental Championship win over Bron Breakker a few weeks ago showed Xavier Woods what life can be like when a legendary tag team wrestler steps out on their own as a singles star. Woods has been suffering an identity crisis and feeling low in value because he’s never held singles gold.
His longtime tag team partner, Kofi Kingston, passed down his shot at Uso’s gold so that Woods could go for an elusive singles championship. Woods proved he would adopt nefarious traits to win against Rey Mysterio last week.
But how far will he go to beat Uso, and could his search for a championship lead to the end of his legendary team The New Day?
Everything Else
We can expect to see the fallout from a newsworthy Bad Blood play out on WWE Raw. Pete Dunne continues to try and permanently prevent Sheamus from calling him ‘Butch’ when they meet in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook match.
