WWE Raw storms into the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA for its flagship Monday night show. Airing on the USA Network at 8/7 C, the two-hour show will pack a punch. Here’s our full preview for this week’s WWE Raw.
Match Card WWE Raw (21/10/24)
- WWE Intercontinental Championship: Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker
- Tag Team Championship No.1 Contender Tournament: The New Day vs. Authors of Pain
- Tag Team Championship No.1 Contender Tournament: The Creed Brothers vs. Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee
Will Family Come Into Play When Uso Defends Against Breakker?
Jey Uso makes his second Intercontinental Championship defense in 28 days. He goes up against former champ Bron Breakker. Both men will see this as a can’t lose match.
Breakker says he doesn’t need his famous family to help him get ahead in WWE. Jey’s success has come once he distanced himself from The Bloodline. Jimmy Uso is trying to lure Jey back to help him and Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.
Jimmy Uso cost his twin brother Jey three championships in the past. Jey won’t forget this but will Jimmy look to help him now to prove he really does want to build their relationship?
As a team, The Usos first WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship reign ended in the Wells Fargo Center – at Battleground 2017 – when Jimmy was pinned by Xavier Woods.
Tag Team Championship No.1 Contender Tournament
Woods will also be in tag action on WWE Raw and will hope for a repeat of Battleground with a win in the WWE Tag Team Championship No.1 contender tournament. By the time this tournament is done, the Tag Team Championship could have been around the waists of Finn Balor and JD McDonagh for 125 days. What’s newsworthy is that the winner of this tournament will only be the Irish duo’s second challenger.
The New Day face The Final Testament’s Authors of Pain. Can Woods and Kofi Kingston find the power of positivity again to spirit a win? Or will Akam and Rezar finally come good and earn a win to progress while making Karrion Kross extremely smug?
Talking of smug. Chad Gable will have a grin as large as a Cheshire Cat if his American Made team Julias and Brutus Creed knock off Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee in their match.
The War Raiders returned to WWE Raw to progress in the tournament at the expense of Alpha Academy.
Anything Else on WWE Raw?
The USA Network is hoping a second of its two-hour WWE Raw broadcast will feature “Tiffy Time”. Tiffany Stratton might have learned last week that helping WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax demolish Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan could be her best chance to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase.
Expect to see this play out. Stratton has definitely added something fresh to the Morgan and Rhea Ripley rivalry.
Our Tiffany Epiphany is that we want to see more of @RheaRipley_WWE and @tiffstrattonwwe as a team! #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/tpTLprwmB5

Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed want to fight but that feels like a match big enough for Crown Jewel.
Damien Priest is looking to become “El Campeón” again but will need to rack up some wins on WWE Raw before he earns a shot at World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. Gunther could potentially do with a few matches to make sure he’s in top shape for Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.
