NXT Vengeance Day saw the finals of this year’s Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, pitting MSK, Nash Carter and Wes Lee, against The Creed Brothers (Brutus and Julius Creed) of Diamond Mine. MSK, who won last year’s tournament, bested Jacket Time and the team of Edris Enofé and Malik Blade to make it to the finals. Meanwhile, The Creed Brothers defeated Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs before overcoming former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Grizzled Young Veterans. Ultimately, this tournament came down from previous winners taking on members of the NXT 2.0 new class. In this competitive final bout, The Creed Brothers emerged victorious as the 2022 Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winners.

The Creed Brothers Win Men’s Dusty Cup
What to Know Following Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Victory
The final match of the Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic approached its conclusion when Julius Creed intercepted a tope from Nash Carter. Back in the ring, Carter was laid out with a running seated lariat, which allowed The Creed Brothers to pick up the pinfall victory. As the winners of this year’s Men’s Dusty Cup, The Creed Brothers have also earned a future NXT Tag Team Championship match; the titles are currently held by Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel of Imperium.
The Creed Brothers, Brutus and Julius, made their NXT 2.0 debut this past August, joining Diamond Mine, which also consists of Ivy Nile, Malcolm Bivens, and Roderick Strong. Since then, The Creed Brothers have been dominant on the brand, picking up victories over such duos as Jacket Time and, as mentioned earlier, Grizzled Young Veterans.
