Brandi Rhodes Reaches Deal To Bring “A Shot Of Brandi” To TV

A Shot of Brandi

Rumors have been flying regarding Cody Rhodes‘ status in the wrestling industry following his exit from All Elite Wrestling. His wife Brandi Rhodes, as reported by many, wasn’t someone WWE seemed too keen on picking up alongside Cody. But the former Chief Brand Officer of AEW didn’t have that title just for show. A Deadline exclusive news article has revealed she’s signed a contract with DIGA Studios to bring the former AEW YouTube show, ‘A Shot Of Brandi‘, to TV.

A Shot of Brandi Headed to Television

DIGA Studios are known for producing the TruTV game show series ‘Hot Ones’ as well as MTV’s supernatural drama ‘Teen Wolf’ and a TV adaptation of the ‘Scream’ movie franchise.

‘A Shot Of Brandi’ was started in 2018 before migrating almost weekly into AEW’s official YouTube channel. The show was based on the concept of Brandi Rhodes and another member of the AEW roster (or special celebrities on occasion) preparing a special dish while having a conversation.

At the moment, the deal signed is to begin production on the program to then pitch to a network. Currently, there is no official channel slated yet to broadcast the series. It will certainly be interesting to see who will be the selected guests to accompany Brandi and would likely vary depending on what network the program would likely land on.

Following the exit of Cody & Brandi Rhodes from AEW, many expected them to continue their ventures into the TV landscape after their success with the first season of ‘Rhodes To The Top” on TNT and this is the first clear sign. As stated by the Deadline article, Brandi is being represented by the Hyperion Talent Agency.
