Preview: AEW Dark: Elevation (09/03/2022) – Dark Order vs. The Factory

Dark Order The Factory

Well, this week, we are treated to a surprise episode of Dark Elevation. Although they seem to have a habit of doing these the nights before pay-per-views, is it still a surprise? Regardless we will be treated to six great match-ups, including The Acclaimed gearing up for an AEW World Tag Team Title shot as they face Invictus Khash and JPH. Speaking of the AEW World Tag Team Championship, reigning champions Swerve in Our Glory are also in action as they face off with Jah-C and Storm Grayson. Our focus tonight, though, is on trios action as AEW World Trios Champion finalists representing The Dark OrderHangmanAdam Page, Dark Order’s John Silver, and Alex Reynolds take on The Factory.

  • Swerve in Our Glory vs. JAH-C and Storm Grayson

The Factory: Cole Karter, Aaron Solo, and Nick Comoroto vs. The Dark Order: Hangman Page, Dark Order’s John Silver, and Alex Reynolds

After substituting for an injured Preston10Vance, Hangman Page is so close to recapturing AEW gold alongside Dark order’s John Silver and Alex Reynolds. Before he faces off against his former friends in The Elite, he will face The Factory’s Cole Karter, Aaron Solo, and Nick Comoroto.

While this will not impact the Trios Championship match itself, there are still massive implications for this match. A win for Hangman, Silver, and Reynolds sends them into tomorrow night’s championship match with a little more momentum. If The Factory emerges victorious, they not only stall the momentum of their opponents, but they also set themselves up as a top contender for the Trios Championship moving forward.

This will be an excellent match, but one I see Hangman, Silver, and Reynolds picking up the victory in. Expect QT Marshall to do everything he can to help his Factory pick up the win, and don’t be surprised if they lay the groundwork for a future feud for the championship.
