Black Label Pro Latest to Join GCW Collective For WrestleMania Week

This weekend, we reported on how Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) was launching ‘The Collective’, a union of indie promotions to put on co-branded events throughout WrestleMania Week next year in the New Jersey area before WrestleMania 35. At the time, they had announced four promotions joining them in the undertaking, Cleveland’s Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW), Montreal’s International Wrestling Syndicate (IWS), Pittsburgh’s fledgling Blackcraft Wrestling (BCW) and Virginia’s NOVA Pro Wrestling. This evening, a fifth partner was announced, in Indiana’s Black Label Pro (BLP) Wrestling. The BLP/GCW event will take the Friday afternoon at 4pm slot at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, New Jersey.

BLP is just over a year old, founded in late 2017 and debuting with their first event, the first annual Darkest Timeline Tournament, that lead to former UFC star “Filthy” Tom Lawlor coming out as the inaugural BLP Champion. Since then, BLP has only grown in stature, with their last few events creating some real buzz as one of the new emerging faces of the Midwest territory. They’ve integrated intergender wrestling into their narrative flawlessly – Jordynne Grace is the current reigning BLP Champion – and feature many of the top indie stars of today alongside emerging regional stars as well. At this year’s Darkest Timeline Tournament last week, they crowned their first ever BLP Indiana State Champion (their new secondary singles title) with emerging Canadian indie star Kobe Durst winning the belt.
