Given that Mizuki has won the last two Tokyo Princess Cup tournaments and has been a tag team champion alongside Yuka Sakazaki you’d be forgiven for thinking that Mizuki was a TJPW roster member. As it turns out Mizuki was a free agent during her time in the company. That all changed today as TJPW announced that Mizuki is now an official roster member and is likely signed to a contract for the foreseeable future.

The creator of the viral Whirling Candy, Mizuki is one of the most talented women on the TJPW roster and has been pushed quite well by the company. Signing her is a good sign for TJPW as the race for talent between them, Stardom, and Ice Ribbon continues to heat up, locking down a future world champion like Mizuki is a strong move by TJPW and more than makes up for the recent losses of talents like Mina Shirakawa, Natsumi Maki and Himawari Unagi. This is especially true with the recent return of Marika Kobashi

With Mizuki locked down we expect to see her finally win the big one sooner rather than later and become the Princess Of Princesses Champion, a title she rightfully deserves to hold.
