Hannah Botterman says Saracens Women are looking to bounce back this weekend as they end the regular season with a home match against Wasps.

The Women in Black have a home semi-final to look forward to on 22nd May, but will be aiming to respond after last Saturday’s defeat to Exeter.

Head Coach Alex Austerberry has made three changes after the trip to Sandy Park, with two up front and one to the backline.

Hannah Botterman, May Campbell and Kelsey Clifford will start in the front-row, with Fi Macintosh and Catha Jacobs running the lineout in the second-row.

Vicky Fleetwood moves to blindside flanker, with co-captain Marlie Packer back at openside and Mackenzie Carson at number eight.

Carly Waters is back at scrum-half, with Holly Aitchison keeping her place in the number 10 shirt. Hannah Casey and Alev Kelter swap positions in the midfield and they will be looking to get plenty of front foot ball at StoneX.

Co-captain Lotte Clapp is on the left wing, with Alysha Corrigan on the right and Sarah McKenna is at full-back.

There is plenty of experience on the bench in the form of Sonia Green and Kat Evans, and Coreen Grant will also be looking to inject some pace in to proceedings.

Botterman knows that the squad will be looking for a big response with Wasps heading to North London.

“We had a lot to go away and work at after the Exeter game as it wasn’t a good day at the office. We’ve been looking to build our cohesion and we know we need to be better so we want to get the ball rolling.”
