ATP 250 Hertogenbosch 1/16-Finals
Bautista-Agut – Huesler: 11.06.2024 14:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Roberto Bautista-Agut has lost three of his last five matches. Agut is 36 years old, and his form is slowly, but surely declining. The last match that he played was at the French Open, where he lost against Jaume Munar in the first round. Roberto is a solid grass court player. In 2019, Agut reached the semifinals at Wimbledon. Last year, Agut played only two tournaments on grass. He reached the semifinals in Halle, and lost in the first round at Wimbledon.
Marc-Andrea Huesler has won four of his last five matches. Last week, Huesler lost in the first round of the ATP Challenger in Surbiton against Harris, who went on and won the tournament in the end. Here in Hertogenbosch, Huesler won two qualifying round matches in straight sets. In his last match against Virtanen, Huesler won 7-6 without losing his serve. He had some solid wins on grass last season, and he feels comfortable playing on it.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Bautista-Agut is a slight favorite in this matchup. Last year, Bautista-Agut had some solid wins on grass. Huesler is still ranked outside the top 100. He is a challenger-level player. We believe that Bautista-Agut is a way better grass court player than Huesler, and even with his form declining, he should be able to win this match comfortably.
That being said, Bautista-Agut winning is a value bet.

Griekspoor – Kecmanovic: 11.06.2024 14:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Tallon Griekspoor has won three of his last five matches. He is on the verge of breaking into the top 20, and if he can have a solid result here in Hertogenbosch, Grieskpoort could break into the top 20 soon enough. The last match he played was at the French Open, where he lost against Zverev in the third round. Griekspoor is a very solid grass court player. He is the defending champion here in Hertogenbosch. Last year, Griekspoor won against Thompson in the final in Hertogenbosch. After that, Griekspoor reached the semifinals in Halle, where he lost against Rublev in three sets.
Miomir Kecmanovic has won three of his last five matches. In his last match at the French Open against Medvedev, Kecmanovic had to retire mid-match. Looking at his previous results on grass, we could say that the grass court surface is his least favorite one. Last year, Miomir played only six matches on grass with a losing 2-4 record. The last match that he played on grass was last season at Wimbledon, where he was absolutely demolished by Schwartzman in the first round.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Griekspoor is a big favorite in this matchup. We believe that he is overall a better grass court player and also in better form than Kecmanovic. Tallon is the defending champion, and we believe that he will get into the second round easily.
That being said, Griekspoor winning in straight sets is a value bet.
