ATP 250 Hertogenbosch 1/16-Finals
Fils – Cazaux: 11.06.2024 12:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Arthur Fils has won four of his last five matches. The last match that he played was at the French Open, where he lost against Arnaldi in the first round. Before that, Fils won the challenger tournament in Bordeaux on clay. Fils is only 19 years old and has not played many matches on grass. The last match he played on grass was last year at Wimbledon, where he lost against Davidovich Fokina in straight sets. Last year, Fils lost both main-draw matches he played on grass.
Arthur Cazaux lost four of his last five matches. The young French talent is unfortunately struggling with the injuries. Since Dubai, Arthur has not won a main-draw match in ATP tour level events and retired twice, in Miami and Barcelona. Unlike Fils, Cazaux played many matches on grass last year. He made it all the way to the final in Nottingham last year when he lost in the challenger final against Murray in straight sets. En route to the final, Cazaux had to win 6 straight matches. After that, Cazaux reached the semifinal at another challenger tournament in Ilkley semifinals, where he lost against Kubler in three sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Cazaux is a slight underdog in this matchup. Looking at their grass court results, Cazaux had better results so far. We believe that he is a better grass court player than Fils, and that he should have been a favorite in this matchup.
That being said, Cazaux winning is a value bet.

Raonic – Thompson: 11.06.2024 12:30 CEST
H2H: 1-1
Milos Raonic has won three of his last five matches. The last match that he won was against Nagal at Indian Wells, where he won in straight sets. After that, Raonic was forced to withdraw from the tournament yet again. Milos has unfortunately been struggling a lot with injuries over the last couple of years. Raonic is a great grass court player with a big serve. He always played his best tennis on fast surfaces such as this one. The last grass court match that he played was last year at Wimbledon, where he lost in the second round against Tommy Paul.
Jordan Thompson has lost four straight matches. Jordan is happy that the clay court season is over. His favorite part of the season is coming up, and we believe that he will get some solid results in the next couple of weeks. Last year, Thompson reached the final in Hertogenbosch where he lost against Griekspoor in three tough sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match, and we totally agree. Both players know how to play on grass and are solid servers as well. We expect no breaks and three possibly sets.
That being said, over games is a value bet.
