According to the bookies, Hamad is a slight underdog in this matchup. Looking at his first round match, we believe that Medjedovic will have a very solid grass court season. This will be the first grass court match for Bublik, so he will definitely need some time to adapt to the surface.

The last match he played was two weeks ago at the French Open, where he lost against Shapovalov in the second round. Frances is a very solid grass court player. Last year, Tiafoe won the title here in Stuttgart, winning against Struff in the final.
Yannick Hanfmann has lost three of his last five matches. The German has had a pretty rough season so far, losing most of his matches. Last week, Hanfmann also played a challenger tournament in Heilbronn where he lost against Choinski in the first round. Hanfmann loves to play on the grass where he had some of his biggest wins. Last year, Hanfmann won some big matches against players such as Tsitsipas and Feliciano Lopez. In the first round here in Stuttgart, Hanfmann won against Squire in easy straight sets as we predicted. Hanfmann showed us how good he is on grass. Yannick needs a good result here in Stuttgart if he wants to stay in the top 100.

According to the bookies, Hanfmann is the underdog in this matchup. We believe that this match will be pretty tight. Hanfmann served and played great in the first round match. We are yet to see how Tiafoe will do on his favorite surface.
