Taylor Fritz has won four of his last five matches. The last match he played was two weeks ago in Shanghai, where he reached the semifinals, losing against Djokovic in straight sets. Fritz is the fifth seed here in Paris, and is looking for a solid result this week to get closer to the top 5 in the rankings. He secured his spot at the ATP Finals. Last year in Paris, Fritz was forced to withdraw in the second round.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. Jack has played more matches in the last couple of weeks, so we believe that he will be fully confident coming into this match. On the other hand, Fritz has not played any competitive matches for the last couple of weeks, so we expect him to be a little bit rusty on the court.
